Y permaneci\u00f3 con el grupo durante el comienzo de su etapa menos oscura y ruda. El disco Night Time<\/em> (1985) -donde est\u00e1 Love Like Blood<\/em>– y Brighter Than a Thousand Suns<\/em> (1986). Y ah\u00ed lo dej\u00f3, aunque volvi\u00f3 de nuevo justo antes de que el grupo se separara, para Extremities, Dirt \u00bb Various Repressed Emitions<\/em> (1990). Cuando el grupo se reuni\u00f3 en 1992 no regres\u00f3 Paul Raven al bajo sino al bajista original, el que huy\u00f3 del Apocalipsis. As\u00ed que Raven se met\u00edo al grupo de hardcore Prong y haciendo trabajos de producci\u00f3n. Pero en la siguiente reformaci\u00f3n de Killing Joke, en 2003, s\u00ed estuvo Raven, con Dave Grohl<\/strong> de Nirvana a la bater\u00eda. Raven ha tocado en el \u00faltimo disco del grupo, Hosannas From The Basements Of Hell<\/em> (2006). We then went back to the house we were staying and I went to bed the other guys stayed up. I found Raven asleep in a chair the next morning in the living room. I thought nothing of it as Raven would sleep like this on the tour bus in the front lounge all the time. Then I looked closer at him and he looked very gray. I checked his pulse and there was none. I yelled for the other guys in the band. We immediately did some CPR and called for an ambulance. Medics arrived quickly but after an hour of trying to get his heart beat back they could not save him. They said he died in his sleep probably around 6 a.m. It was then 9:30 a.m. We made a lot of great music together. Words can-t describe how I feel right now. I-m devastated. He will be missed by many. He was the king of the one-liners.
